Kanye West’s ‘The Life Of Pablo’ Becomes First Streaming-Only Album To Go Platinum

The one and only, Kanye West is back, and once again he’s changing the rules of music. Today the word on the e-streets is that Kanye West’s ‘The Life Of Pablo’ Becomes First Streaming-Only Album To Go Platinum. The album dropped on February 14th, 2016 and has since gone on to become quite popular.

The project is the first streaming-only album in history to nab an RIAA certification, while also being the first streaming-only album to reach No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart. All of this came after Chance The Rapper’s Coloring Book became the first streaming-only album to chart in the Billboard Top 200.
