Jwalt, the18 year old Rapper, Poet, and activist from Oakland California just released his new single “Don’t Fight It.” The new song features Derek King and has the hyphy sound the Bay Area is known for. The track is produced by Xclusive and Derek King Provides a soulful sound to the hook. Jwalt is no stranger to Sways Universe, making his first appearance at 15 years old on Sway in the Mornings “Doomsday cypher,” becoming the youngest MC to ever be apart of the Cypher on Sirius XM.
Since then Jwalt has shared stages with world renowned artist such as T-pain, Metro Boomin, Common, E-40, saweetie, Black thought, Talib Kweli, Jerimih, Kamaiyah, and Daveed Diggs. He has been recognized as one of the next Bay Area artist to take off, doing collaborations with bay legends such as Dj Toure from the Hieroglyphics and Mistah F.A.B.
