JoJo Unveils an Acoustic Performance of her Powerful Song about Addiction, “Save My Soul”

Just a few weeks back, JoJo came at us with one of her most transparent tracks of all time.  Complete with a video directed by Robin Williams’ daughter, Zelda Williams, “Save My Soul” is an introspective look into JoJo’s history of dealing with those who struggle with addiction.  “I grew up seeing addiction very close to me,” JoJo says in the introduction to her acoustic version of the song, “both my parents have struggled with it.”

Dedicated to her late father Joel Levesque, the track takes on JoJo’s feeling of being powerless as the disease of addiction tore at her family.  While the music video continues to gain traction in the industry, JoJo has just released an acoustic version of the song which harnesses her raw emotion and power.  Check it out below and follow along with JoJo on Twitter @iamjojo.
