John Corbett Talks “Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll,” Wishing He Ended Up With Carrie on “Sex And The City” + Quitting Social Media

John Corbett has found a niche in shows with ‘sex’ in the title. From “Sex and the City” to “Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll” Corbett joins Sway in the Morning to hang out with Heather B and Tracy G and discuss what’s been up in his life.

Brought in by Dennis Leary who plays Johnny Rock, Corbett says he debating taking the FX role due to it filming in NYC. Now 55-years-old Corbett resides in wine country on a ranch, something he didn’t want to give up for too long to film. Now in the city he says the decision was a lot like going to the gym, hard at first but worth the trip. Being that he plays someone in a band on his new series he jokes that his shower song is “Don’t Stop Believing,” he even shows off his pipes when they return from a break.

Talking about his role on “Sex and the City” with an excited caller he admits that he wished he would have ended up with Carrie Bradshaw, mostly so his role would have extended for a bigger check, he jokes. Ending things on a funny note Corbett tells the crew that he gave up on using social media after someone told him he had mom arms on Twitter, LOL!

Watch above and tune into “Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll” every Thursday on FX.
