Joe Budden Steps Up to Release a Powerful Message on “Freedom”

Putting his lyrical roast of Drake aside, Joe Budden is speaking out about the recent killings of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile. Going in over Beyoncé’s “Freedom,” Budden adds in audio from Diamond Reynolds, the girlfriend of Philando Castile, as well as Jesse William’s BET Awards speech.

Going right at it right out of the gate Budden raps, “Let’s take a moment to stand and observe the Hell we live in. No matter how high the fire it never melts the system.” He continues on about telling his son to be weary of what is said on TV and asks how many more cities do we need to march through before things change.
