Joe Budden Goes at Drake Again On “Wake”

It’s been 5 days since Joe Budden unleashed his first runaround at drake on “Making A Murderer.” With Drake sending no mention or acknowledgement of its existence Budden is back this morning at 2:21 A.M., the time of day Drake was born, with “Wake.”

Stepping his direct disses up, Budden attacks the OVO general for using artists on his label for his own personal gain with no reciprocation for their careers. He mentions Mike Zombie (Zombie On The Track), PartyNextDoor and The Weeknd directly along with subliminally shouting out Makonen by mentioning “Tuesday.” Budden also calls Drake out for riding other artist’s waves, this time mentioning Migos, Fetty Wap and the most recent instance of befriending Gucci and releasing a track only days after his release from prison.

Along with his lyrics Budden also makes a play at Drake and his home town of Toronto with his cover art. Following Drake’s “Back To Back” cover with a Blue Jays player rounding the bases, Budden hits back with a depiction of Jose Bautista being punched in the face.
