Jessica Alba Raps Live as Lil Honey, Talks “Mechanic Resurrection” and Working with Jason Statham and Tommy Lee Jones

The ever charming Jessica Alba is preparing for her latest film, “Mechanic Resurrection” to hit theaters later tonight. Out promoting its release she stopped by Sway in the Morning yesterday morning to talk about filming in Thailand and working with amazing talent.

Playing the character Gina, Alba explains the concept of the film and how it follows up the original “Mechanic” movie. Shooting primarily in Thailand she talks about being served spicy food with no prior knowledge of how hot it really was.

Starring alongside Jason Statham and Tommy Lee Jones she talks about what makes each actor so special. Talking through Statham’s prior olympic diving experience she explains that his control and determination is unmatched. Being in awe of Jones throughout she jokes that she talked with his wife at first because she was intimidated by him.

Asked about her choice of music Alba reveals that she lives “Timmy Turner,” but unfortunately for Desiigner she tunes into an unofficial remix instead. What else is on Alba’s playlist? She says she’s currently into Drake, Rihanna and Jay Z. When asked about Eminem she shares that she once ran into the Shade 45 boss in a Miami gym and the result was rather awkward.

Before taking off Alba raps lyrics written by DB as he gives her the moniker Lil Honey. Watch above and keep up with Alba on Twitter @jessicaalba.
