Jermaine Dupri on Why He Defended Kanye West and Announced So So Def Tour + Exclusive Unreleased Track

25 years ago, producer, rapper, songwriter, executive, Jermaine Dupri started So So Def records and it has been a staple in hip-hop ever since. So So Def has been home to the likes of Xscape, Da Brat, Jagged Edge, Bow Wow, Dem Franchise Boyz and Anthony Hamilton to name a few.

Sony Music Entertainment announced that it will commemorate the 25th anniversary with a new digital album this summer with classic hip-hop and R&B hits from the 80’s through 2000’s.

JD stopped by Sway In The Morning to talk about this iconic moment and to give some details on what to expect from the tour.
