Jay Z Thanks His Peers After Being Inducted Into Songwriters Hall Of Fame

The other night marked a special moment in the career of Jay Z. The wordsmith became the first rapper inducted into the Songwriters Hall Of Fame. Upon arrival of the news, Jay Z took to the world of social media to share the honor, thanking a handful of people along the way. Jay Z joined the likes of Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds, Berry Gordy, Max Martin and more.

He took the time to thank a number of MC’s including the likes of Rakim, Big Daddy Kane, Jaz, Nas, Eminem, Nicki, Queen Latifah, LL, 2 Chainz, T.I., Ice-T, Future, Foxy Brown, Mos Def and many more.
