JAY-Z Parodies ‘Friends’ In The New “Moonlight” Music Video

Another week, another new video from JAY-Z. Today the Brooklyn native is back with a brand new visual from his ‘4:44’ opus, serving up the visuals for his latest single, “Moonlight.” The track is brought to life in an interesting and eye-catching clip that parodies the classic 90’s sitcom, Friends.

In doing so, we find an all-black cast of Jerrod Carmichael (Ross), Issa Rae (Rachael), Tiffany Haddish (Phoebe), Tessa Thompson (Monica), Lakeith Stanfield (Chandler), Lil Rel Howery (Joey) and Hannibal Buress, who plays himself. The video finds JAY-Z again nowhere to be found, instead serving up something thought provoking and interesting, to say the least. Check out the latest video in the clip below and give us your thoughts after the jump. Stay tuned for much more from JAY-Z coming soon.
