After putting us all on notice in his L.A. Leakers freestyle, The Off-Season is here, and J.Cole is in his bag! The album features cameos from 21 Savage, Lil Baby, and he even brought Cam’ron just to talk that talk.
Cole has connected with a host of dope producers, headlined by Timbaland, Boi-1da and even himself.
It has been two-years since Cole dropped arguably his best work to date with KOD. But early listens of The Off-Season indicate Cole’s pen game may have topped that project and he continues to get even better which is hard to believe.
As you may know by now Cole is set to start balling in the Basketball Africa League. And his love of the game is evident across the project. But none more prevalent than him sampling Dame D.O.L.L.A. on “p u n c h i n’. t h e. c l o c k”
