Okay so it’s official. Kanye West has the crown… Crown of what? Pretty much EVERYTHING. Ye definitely won.
After debuting his Spring/Summer collection, Yeezy Season 3, at the Madison Square Garden on Thursday; Ye sent his fans into a frenzy. The fashion show that debuted his 2016 clothing line featured a star studded cast. Artists such as Young Thug, Ian Connor and Lil Yatchy were there to support Ye as models of his new collection. Keep in mind that as the collection is being showcased, Ye is in the DJ booth previewing selected tracks for the longly anticipated, The Life of Pablo. Mind blowing experience, right? You had to be there (or at least streaming it live).
Towards the end of the show, Ye gave both Thugga and Vic Mensa opportunities to promote the new music they’ve been working on. Supposedly the song Thug previewed was a snippet of a feature from Slime Season 3.
Just know that the vibes in the building were so real. Kanye’s influnce over the crowd was so strong that they broke out into “F*ck Nike” chants before Kayne even had the chance to touch on his issues with the brand. Of course Ye was in the moment and decided to drop a whole new version of his latest “Facts” track.
It’s safe to say that Ye weekend was in full effect from that point on…
Tonight (Saturday) was Ye and Thug’s turn to perform on none other then Saturday Night Live.
Fans began to worry that the performance wouldn’t take place due to rumors of The Life of Pablo being bought by infamous internet troll, Martin Shkrelli, for $10 milli. But sure enough during the 10:30/11:30 PM broadcast, Ye arrived with a slew of unexpected guests. Artists such as Kelly Price, The Dream, Chance the Rapper, Kirk Franklin and Young Thug joined Kanye on stage to give a performance of a life time.
Shortly there after, Ye broke the internet. Literally. KanyeWest.com crashed and so did Tidal. Yeezy fans were fed up with their emotions being toyed with, obviously.
Finally, The Life of Pablo is here…
So far, Tidal is holding the T.L.O.P stream hostage for the next seven days but we always find our way to the preview.
The features on this album are absolutely insane. We think it’s safe to say that the album exceeds the hype, peep it for yourself and let us know what you think.
P.S. Frank Ocean, where are you and why have you plagued us with your broken promises? You show up for Ye, we get it (he’s Ye) but come on… Loyalty bro.
