It's a "Children's Story" When Nas & Slick Rick Link Up

Rick Walters, a.k.a. “Rick The Ruler” or “Slick Rick” — is well-known for his narrative structure in his raps and has been called “hip hop’s greatest storyteller.”

With that being said, Slick Rick has began a new chapter to his famous song “Children’s Story,” as he brought up Nasty Nas to perform the track alongside him in an epic celebration for his 50th birthday.

Indeed a heavy live set was put on by two legends, but between Slick Rick and Nas — it was all of the gold chains and gold rangs that had the audience in awe. It’s reigns true that Slick Rick rose to stardom in an era known to fans as the “Golden age of Hip Hop“, but at half a century-years young — the UK born, East Coast raised Rapper — doesn’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon.
