In Honor of Mac Dre, Mistah F.A.B. & Several Fans Get Hyphy in “Still Feelin’ It”

Mistah F.A.B. And the Bay Area still mourn the loss of the late Mac Dre who was tragically gunned down in 2004.  In his honor, Mistah F.A.B. tweaks Dre’s track “Feeling Myself” renaming it “Still Feelin’ It”, which was obviously a fan favorite on Son of a Pimp 2.

Parts of the video was filmed in front of Mac Dre’s mural in Oakland and at a recent Mac Dee art show.  The other parts of the video were submitted videos of fans going OFF to Mistah’s track.

This video is for the people and for the Bay,” says Mistah F.A.B. “It’s about the legacy and life of Mac Dre. I made a PSA and asked for small clips of Mac Dre fans dancing to the song, and the response was overwhelming. It’s a real testament to his lasting legacy and the love people still have for him. Everyone surrounding him could relate to him. He was a voice of the underworld, but also incredibly charismatic and an energy of fun. His motto was: Keep it gangsta but be yourself, get the most out of life. Mac was like, ‘I did too much time to be wasting time. I’m finna have fun and look good while doing it,’ I think everyone should adopt that type of mindset.” – quoted from hiphopDX
