Over the past few months, we have heard more and more about a possible bout between Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather. Well, today it looks like that fight could actually be coming to life, and sooner than we expected. According to the UK tabloid The Sun, the two fighters have allegedly agreed to a blockbuster fight. While nothing official has come down the line just yet, the announcement comes on the heels of McGregor turning down a role in The Predator movie and Dana White saying the fight is not happening.
McGregor recently spent time in Las Vegas where he made an anti-bullying video for kids. While doing so, he stated “Ah no look I’m gonna f*** this whole sh*t up again. I love the Vegas Commission. We’ve come to an understanding. I’m gonna fly out there and fix it. I’m gonna get my Las Vegas boxing commission and then we’ll see where the f*** Floyd’s at?!” Word on the e-streets comes from a source close to the MMA star who told the Irish Sun that “Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather have agreed to a deal to fight and have both settled on their respective fees.” The report added that “The contract hasn’t officially been signed yet because of a third party hold-up but all the details have all been agreed on. The fight could even be announced within two weeks.” Check out the rest of the story here and speak your thoughts on it after the jump. Stay tuned for much more from the world of fighting coming very soon!
