Get Those Late Night Tacos With Lyft’s “Taco Mode”

Technology has changed the way we do everything. From the way we connect with friends and family, to the way we go about getting our food. Well, today the good folks over at Lyft are back at it with something that we will certainly be taking advantage of very soon. Lyft’s “Taco Mode” is their latest feature which finds the ride sharing company pairing up with Taco Bell for a special collaboration. Lyft’s “Taco Mode” allows  Lyft passengers to push a button and have their driver take them to a Taco Bell drive-thru between the hours of 9 p.m. and 2 a.m.

Taco Bell’s CMO Marisa Thalberg commented on the partnership stating: “We realized that for every person who has asked their Lyft driver to make a pit-stop at Taco Bell — and we have seen many — there are likely those who were not sure if this was possible. With the advent of this fantastic partnership with Lyft, we will erase any lingering uncertainty and celebrate the ability to ‘ride-thru’ in Taco Mode.” The unique new feature will also feature a custom in-car menu, free Doritos Locos, and a “taco-themed Lyft car. While this is not the first time a ride sharing company has partnered with a food location, it is certainly the most interesting. Head over to Lyft and learn more about ‘Taco Mode’ right now. Stay tuned for more from Lyft coming soon.
