GRAMMY® Award-winning multiplatinum hip-hop luminaries The Roots and Live Nation Urban are proud to announce the details for the 2023 installment of “Roots Picnic.” This renowned two-day festival will be back at The Mann in Fairmount Park in Philadelphia, PA on Saturday and Sunday, June 2-4, 2023. To kick off the weekend, a special stand-up comedy performance from Dave Chappelle and The Roots at Wells Fargo Center on Friday, June 2 has been added to the lineup. A fan club presale launches tomorrow and general on-sale follows the following day – here’s everything you need to know!
The Roots Picnic is known for its complete musical and cultural immersion. Attendees can expect an eclectic mix of music, art, fashion, comedy, food vendors, games and various activities across multiple stages. Last year’s lineup included Nelly, Lil Uzi Vert, Summer Walker, Leon Bridges and more – so rest assured that this year’s lineup will be nothing short of spectacular!
This year’s lineup is sure to bring even more diverse acts from different genres together for an unforgettable experience. Hip hop fans can expect their favorite stars as well as newcomers who are pushing boundaries and shaking up the genre with their creative approaches to music.
