French Montana Breaks Down ISIS, Thoughts on Joe Budden Dissing Drake + Performs Live

With “MC4” quickly approaching its August 19th release date French Montana has picked up the pace by dropping the Drake assisted single “No Shopping” which has been coursing its way around the web.

Stopping by Sway in the Morning French Montana addresses the song not being directed at Joe Budden and fills us in on much more. Coming at us with the “after Ramadan flow,” French opens up about the last month refraining from drinking and women. Going deeper into his Muslim roots he speaks on ISIS and why people need to stop blaming Muslim’s as a whole for what is happening.

Transitioning into the music French speaks on his new relationship with Epic Records and joining the team because that’s where his family is. After dropping “Lockjaw” with up and coming artist Kodak Black, French speaks on his love for collaborating with promising young talent. He also opens up about his relationship with Gucci before rolling into “No Shopping” and his thoughts on Drake and Joe Budden.

Addressing his latest single we hear French say that “No Shopping” was not directed at Joe Budden. With no disrespect to Joe he says it just doesn’t look right for someone to keep dropping diss records when the other party isn’t going to respond.

During the rest of his time French breaks down his track “I Can’t Figure It Out” and his loyalty to Diddy before taking the mic and performing “No Shopping” live in the SITM studio.

As for the rest of “MC4,” French says he has an old song featuring Max B and Chinx as well as a record for New York featuring some of the city’s greatest. Watch above and pre-order “MC4” on iTunes before it drops next month.
