Who knew the talented actor from She’s All That, Scooby Doo, and I Know What You Did Last Summer was such a badass?

Freddie Prinze Jr. stopped by Sway in the Morning to promote his new cookbook Back to the Kitchen complete with 75 delicious recipes, a pasta dish that earned him a stalker, and real-life stories from the actor’s life.  One of his recent highlights was when he got to make fried chicken for D.L. Hugley, who shared with Freddie that his dad, the late Freddie Prinze Sr., was one of the reasons he started stand up comedy.

Freddie also shares the story of how his dad framed a towel of Muhammad Ali’s blood after winning a friendly fight with the late great boxer.  He talks regrets and how it still hurts him that he never got to have a meal with Robin Williams or get together with Paul Walker before they passed: “Regret is something you don’t want to live with.”  Now, he makes sure to get together with people while they’re still here, because we all put off plans thinking we’ll have next week, but that time may never come.  Also, how did Freddie break his rib in a sparring with Chuck Norris?  Find out in this very interesting interview above.  Back to the Kitchen is now available on Amazon.
