Sad news to announce Fred the Godson, the Bronx rapper has passed away. This comes after Fred’s publicist revealed that his fever was dropping, but his kidneys weren’t working after he was continuing to battle the coronavirus.
‘Fred the Godson.’ Is known for his cunning rhymes and smooth flow Fred has New York City Hip Hop enthusiasts believing again. He was even hailed as “The Next Great One.” After becoming known for his freestyles he would emerge to be a gifted lyricist. His ability to create metaphors was his most distinctive gift. He would later become “Best Male Rapper” at the 2007 Underground Music Awards and editorial in industry magazines such as Juice and XXL.
Fred’s longtime collaborator Jaquae took to Instagram to reveal that Fred The Godson had passed. Jaquae posted, “Sleep in peace my brother….. 💙🙏🏾 You’ll never be forgotten. LOVE U MAN. I have so much things to say but I’m lost right now..”
