Fred The Godson has always been A+ with the pen, speaking the truth and touching on important issues with his music we had to have him in to speak on his new album “Contraband 2.”

With powerful tracks like “Black Power” and “Take ’em’ To Church,” Fred The Godson dissects his lyrics and tells the stories behind them. From being called out by white fans to rules put in place by his mother on the Sabbath, we get the exclusive look behind what makes these tracks special.

During the rest of his time we also hear Fred talk about the NY music scene and how important it was to have Joell Ortiz and Vado on his album. He speaks on working with artists in-studio vs. sending music back and forth and even jokes with Heather about hitting his DM for a game of spades.

Check out the full interview and make sure to grab your copy of “Contraband 2” on iTunes.
