Filled With Musical “Blessings,” Chance The Rapper Performs on Jimmy Fallon + Announces “Chance 3” Release Date

The music world has nearly been turned upside down over the past few weeks with drops from Beyonce, Drake, James Blake and many more. Adding to this craziness was Chance The Rapper who switched his Twitter avatar for the first time in years last week to showcase the cover art for his forthcoming mixtape “Chance 3.”

After announcing that he would be performing on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon earlier this week, many thought that “Chance 3” would be hitting the interwebs shortly after the performance. Getting these rumors out of the way, Chance had Jimmy Fallon announce the release date of May 13th, shortly before premiering his new track “Blessings.”

Filled with heart, soul and a stellar Jamila Woods feature, “Blessings” comes complete with some strong horn work from Donnie Trumpet himself. If this song is any indication of the rest of “Chance 3” you can expect progressive subject matter with a positive twist shining through Chance’s unrivaled delivery.
