Fat Joe has been in the rap game for 26 years strong! And Family Ties which is dropping this Friday may mark the end of an era as Joe contemplates retirement. He stopped by Sway In The Morning to talk about where he is with the thought of calling it quits after such longevity and everything that went into this potential final album.
Joe made his debut in 1993 with Represent and has had ten total studio albums to date with countless hits. All or Nothing peaked at number one on the Billboard charts in 2005 with hits like the “Lean Back” remix featuring Eminem, Lil Jon, Remy Ma, and Ma$e. Family Ties has a lot to live up to, but Flow Joe says it is his best body of work. So until it drops this Friday, let’s take a trip back to another classic, Don Cartagena.
