Fashawn Says He Almost Gave Up on Rap, Shares Advice From Nas, Defines Success + Freestyles Live

Someone who genuinely respects the artistry of rap music, Fashawn is celebrating the recent success of his LP which released last week titled “The Ecology.”  Executive produced by none other than Nas himself, Fashawn discussed almost completely giving up on rap and how the Queensbridge native saved his life.  Among these topics we also hear how the track “Something To Believe In” featuring Aloe Blacc and Nas and produced by DJ Khalil came about.  Check out the full interview along with a fresh freestyle below and head here to cop “The Ecology” on iTunes.
