Facebook Has Finally Introduced A “Dislike” Button

For years Facebook has let us ‘like’ our favorite content. However, we have never been able to ‘dislike’ a post without making a comment saying so. Well soon enough, that all changes as word comes down today that Facebook will finally introduce a ‘Dislike’ button. While it is a great new feature, it is not what you think. Facebook has introduced emoji attachments to Messenger chats which allows users to assign an emoji to a specific message.

When you hover over a message, you will be given options to attach a reaction, which includes the thumbs down emoji. Facebook confirmed the new feature to TechCrunch saying “We’re always testing ways to make Messenger more fun and engaging. This is a small test where we enable people to share an emoji that best represents their feelings on a message.” Interested or not?
