Fabolous is stirring up a "Quiet Storm" in his latest freestyle

By Maria-Karmina Landicho

As part of his “Friday Night Freestyle” — the one and only, F-a-b-o-l-o-u-s freestyles over a very familiar beat.

A haunting laugh starts the track off, right before the infamous Mobb Deep track drops.

Fabolous has been on a good run, as of late. This latest freestyle release of “Quiet Storm” is no exception and nothing less than fire. Respectable bars are executed by Fab., as he brings major levels to his freestyle.

He plays on his widely repeated verse:

” F-A-B-O-L-U-S / you just / lay down / slow “

Executing this track with a playful verse,

” It’s the F-to the -A-to the-B-O-L-O-U-S / you just / get some / more Rello’s / I’m Frank Costello / Just more ghetto

That’s not the only lit verse in “Quiet Strom” — Fabolous continues to slay the track with impressive bars. Guaranteed to have you put this freestyle on repeat to catch on the puns and play on words. Put him on one time (or two, or three):

This man swung by Sway In The Morning and blessed the crew with his very first freestyle of the year.
Who knew he would have more in store throughout the year! While in-studio, he broke down some of his famous play on words and lyrics. Watch as he also weighs in on who he thinks the king of NY is — and of course, enjoy that freestyle below:
