Erykah Badu Reveals Artwork and Tracklisting For “But You Caint Use My Phone”

Erykah Badu is dropping a mixtape on Black Friday and today, she’s revealed the tracklisting and artwork for it.  But You Caint Use My Phone, inspired by her 1997 hit “Tyrone”, has 11 tracks that were all recorded in 12 days in her hometown of Dallas with producer Zach Witness.  According to a press release, “each song makes reference to telephones and our own reliance with staying interconnected”.  The tape will be released exclusively on iTunes/Apple Music November 27, and will be available on other digital services December 4.  No features are shown on the tracklisting, but “surprises” and “guests” are promised.  Badu will be hosting the Soul Train Awards this Sunday November 29 at 8 p.m. ET on BET.
