Reason is back in his bag with I Love You Again, a new project set to drop on February 28, 2025. Kicking things off in style, he’s teamed up with Dreamville’s Bas for the project’s first single, “Not What You Think,” which is now streaming everywhere.
The track brings an infectious bounce and sharp cadence that Reason crafted during a pivotal moment—right after parting ways with TDE. Reflecting on the process, he shared, “I didn’t even have words at first. I just knew I wanted the vibe locked in a certain pocket, and I wanted to speak on how the artist lifestyle isn’t always what people imagine it to be.”
Reason and Bas had already connected over this theme back during the Revenge of the Dreamers III sessions, making Bas the perfect collaborator for this record. “Once I wrote the verse and hook, I knew I had to hit up my dawg. Bas came through and did his thing as always. Everything came together exactly how I envisioned, so big love to everyone who made it happen,” Reason said.
