Eminem’s “Stan” Is Now Officially In The Oxford Dictionary

The impact of Eminem and his lyrical talents is historic. Today it becomes rather official as the word comes down today that “Stan” is now officially in the Oxford Dictionary. The word was inspired by the third single from Eminem’s third album The Marshall Mathers LP.

“Stan” is defined in the dictionary as “An overzealous or obsessive fan of a particular celebrity.” This is certainly an honor and comes just after news that the wordsmith is prepping a 15th anniversary capsule of The Eminem Show.
