Eminem has set the Internet on fire once again! The legendary rapper released his eleventh solo studio album, “Music to Be Murdered By” last night.
The album in its entirety is an incredible showcase of Em’s abilities as an emcee. The 20 track project was dropped without any formal pre-promotion just as his previous 2018 effort, Kamikaze.
The rap veteran touches on a variety of subjects, which – among others, include his legacy and current place in hip-hop, various familial standings, and the ever-present issue of gun violence within American society. Mathers has touched on these topics before, but somehow manages to make them feel like completely new material even after over 20 years of releasing music.
Every track on here is certainly worth a listen, but some notable ones are “Premonition – Intro”, “Those Kinda Nights” featuring Ed Sheeran, “Godzilla” featuring Juice WRLD, “Darkness”, and “Leaving Heaven” featuring Skylar Grey.
Speaking of features, the album showcases an extremely wide array of other artists, including Young M.A, Royce Da 5’9”, White Gold, Black Thought, Q-Tip, Denaun, Anderson .Paak, Don Toliver, KXNG Crooked, Joell Ortiz, and… Alfred Hitchcock?
Slim Shady seems to have stole 2020, and it’s only January! What do you think of this album? What are your favorite tracks? Let us know!

That Darkness song really made me feel emotional, it touched my soul. Love the double entendres, and the message he gave. I’m eager to hear more songs from em similar to this style.
He is Back
There are some blatantly ambiguous lines in a few of the songs on this album: I’m not sure everyone will exactly get, but I’m definitely able to appreciate. Another brilliant piece of work.
Amazing amazing amazing. 5 stars 10 outta 10.
