Reg The RulerBy Reg The RulerMay 2, 2019No Comments1 Min Read

Last night was a record-setting one for the King of The North. Drake took home 12 Billboard Music Awards, bringing his career total to 27. That mark surpasses Taylor Swift as the old leader with 23 total. He took home awards including Top Male Performer, Top Artist, Best 200 Album for Scorpion to name a few.

And while Drake had the biggest night, it was also a good night for others in Hip-Hop and R&B. Beyonce and Jay-Z won for Best R&B Tour and Top Rap Tour. JuiceWRLD won Top New Artist. Ella Mai, Cardi B, Travis Scott, and Ariana Grande all racked up multiple awards. And posthumously, XXXTentacion won Top R&B Album for 17.
