Dot Demo’s 93HUNNIT album will change your current opinion of New York Hip-Hop. Since the late 90’s and early 2000’s the Mecca of Hip-Hop has struggled to find an identity, toiling around with sounds from the south to now very heavily drill influenced. But the Bronx-native, dropped a 16-track album that oddly enough has sounds that can fit anywhere, but is so New York.
93HUNNIT features a cameo from comedian Pop Vazquez, contributions from singers Faith Lee and Dave Disla. He also collared with bars from Monty Slee, Bubs Styles, Nas Zaan, Radamiz, Sha Hef, DunnyWays, ARVX, and Andy Gunn.
The project just dropped exclusively on Viper Records in partnership with Dot Demo’s own Ultra Nostra Records.
Some standout records include the lead single “Himalayan Pink Salt” featuring comedic influencer Pop Vazquez. “Alchemy/High Tolerance” is one of the Dot-produced tracks that he floats on effortlessly, but is spittin hard on.
