Dee-1 Kicks a Freestyle for BET's Backroom

RCA Inspiration artist, Dee-1, made a guest appearance on BET’s The Backroom to deliver a lyrical utterance that far surpassed all preconceptions… His verse, started off with an epilogue of purpose which quickly trailed into a barrage of antiquated self-motivation, and he definitely didn’t shy away from being fully equipped with witty one-liners that will surely make you grin. Dee-1 took to the instrumental of “Lil Stomp”, produced by Tony Crow, to deliver a freestyle unlike any you’ve ever heard before.

“Give me the mic and you gon’ see World War III / Yo’ money, power and respect, man I’ll burn all three / Found out the teachers couldn’t teach, so I learned off me / I’m self-made, I’m self-paid, yeah, I earn off me.”
