David Banner Targets Black Women in “Marry Me” and Explains Why

Video by YSKSK MEDIA

It’s always a pleasure to have David Banner join us on Sway in the Morning. This time he opened our perspective with his new song, Marry Me.

“I made ‘Marry Me’ for women because in order for us to go to war with whoever, we gotta make amends with our women, and our daughters.” Banner tells us, “We gotta get this back with our families.”

Although this track is for women in general, he’s targeting black women — dark skin women expecially.

Find out why, below + let us know what you think in the comments.
