After dropping everyone’s favorite song “Cha-Cha” back in March, D.R.A.M. was one of the most talked about up and comers from people like Beyoncé and Rick Rubin. He even got to be apart of Chance the Rapper’s “Family Matters” tour alongside Metro Boomin and Towkio. Today, he reflects on his rise to fame in his new single “1 Year”.
“Often imitated, never duplicated” – sounds like shots towards Drake’s “Hotline Bling” – goes to show you that a helluva lot can happen in just one year. Check it out below and let us know what you think.
And if that single wasn’t enough, D.R.A.M. took to Twitter earlier to share his cover on Bryson Tiller’s hit single “Don’t”. D.R.A.M. lays down some sexy vocals while talking to a girl who might have tried to play him. The chopped and screwed breakdown at the end might have you making the ugliest face, in a good way. Listen all the way up above.
D.R.A.M. was in our studio and speaks on holding off on signing to major labels on Sway in the Morning.
