Corey Feldman and his wife Courtney stopped by for an exclusive interview on Sway In The Morning and Sway’s Universe. They came by to talk about their appearance on the new season of “Marriage Bootcamp-Family Edition”, premiering Friday, October 11th on WETV. Corey talked about how growing up as a child actor affected him. He said was forced to sit in his room and study scripts all day in what he called slave labor. When he refused to do so he was punished, his young life was full of torment. Corey said some of his happiest times were on the set. “That was my reprieve, getting to work was the best part of my life,” Corey said during the interview with Sway.
Corey also explains how singing isn’t something new to him. He would have to learn songs word for word and would use his voice to impress executives when he would go on auditions as early as 3 years old. Corey went into detail about how his parents were abusing but in different ways. He said his father was more methodical with his punishments and would tamper with the money. While his mother was physically abusive and could go from smiling to beating on him.
Sway mentioned how we often speak on women having “Daddy Issues” and asks Courtney how was it to marry a man with “Mommy Issues.” Courtney expressed “I have mommy issues too so I get it, but not to the point of his.” Corey went on to talk about how the abuse not only affected him but his siblings as well. Corey also announced he was working on a documentary that would chronicle the physical and sexual abuse of kids in the film industry. He explained how powerful people in the industry who were guilty of these horrific things, shut down production of his project.
Corey explained that there was no way he was going to get funding to finish his film so he joined the cast of Marriage Bootcamp to help fund the finishing of his documentary. Corey revealed that the documentary was finished and he was just looking for distribution. The name of the Documentary will be “Truth: The Rape of Two Coreys”.
Corey admitted that his father’s personal assistant Cloyed John Grislim was responsible for him trying every drug he ever did. He said that Grislim would take him out and partying and would get him drugged up and then abuse him. Corey spoke of meeting his friend named Corey Haim and he had admitted to being raped by someone very powerful in the industry. “The guy was powerful back then in the industry and is still powerful in the industry today and he needs to be exposed,” Corey said before revealing that he is going to expose the name of the powerful executive in his documentary. “I’m doing this so Corey could finally Rest In Peace.”
Corey talks about how he had multiple attempts on his life and threats but none since the completion of his documentary. Corey said, “Harvey Weinstein has done a lot of evil to a lot of people, but there’s nothing more important then persevering the innocence of the children.” Corey helped to change the Child Victims Act in New York last year and is the reason why Epstein and R. Kelly are indicted in New York State and they plan on doing the same thing in Los Angelas. Already having bills passed down through the senate, Corey said the bill is sitting in the governor’s desk waiting to be passed.
