Cool Nutz Releases Video to Show He's Really "Married To This"

Cool Nutz Press 2014

Get to know Cool Nutz. This NW artist drops his new video Married To This today, off his upcoming EMO album — due October 28.

“My involvement in Hip-Hop culture has been like a marriage.” Nutz tells us. “The good, the bad, the ugly, and all the things that come along with a long term relationship. Even with a potential split looming, you fight tirelessly to preserve the love that you have built. The rap game has given me so much, and even taken me through tremendous lows putting me near the point of quitting. But with the commitment that I have made, it’s hard for me to walk away from it. Thus I’m Married To This.”

He carries on to tell us about making music in Oregon and leading the pack.

“I’ve been a mainstay in the NW hip-hop scene and very much responsible for building up the Portland hip-hop scene, as well as the Portland Hip-Hop Festival(POH-Hop). I created and co-own our independent record label Jus Family Records with producer Bosko. We have worked with the likes of E-40, Bone Thugs N Harmony, Tech N9ne, Mac Dre, Ras Kass, Devin The Dude, Berner, and More.”

Recently touring with Berner, Krizz Kaliko, Too Short, and E-40, as well as international dates to Dubai, Australia, Europe, Japan, Canada, and more — watch Married to This below.
