Recently the word came down that Conor McGregor has signed on to go head to head with Floyd Mayweather Jr. While the fight has been up in the air for months now, today the word is that Conor has signed and things are now waiting on the Mayweather camp to move forward.
Conor spoke in an exclusive statement for TheMacLife.com stating: “It is an honor to sign this record-breaking deal alongside my partners Zuffa LLC, The Ultimate Fighting Championship, and Paradigm Sports Management.” He went on to add that “The first, and most important part of this historic contract has now officially been signed off on.” He finished off his announcement with “Congratulations to all parties involved. We now await Al Haymon and his boxer’s signature in the coming days.” Interesting news to say the least and for what could be the biggest fight of the decade.
