Coaches, Reserves Announced for 2016 NBA All-Star Game in Toronto + Sting Performance at Halftime

Only a week after the starters for the 2016 NBA All-Star Game were announced, reserves and coaches quickly followed as well. If you’ve caught any basketball this year, you have a pretty good idea of who made this list or maybe you don’t – there are few shockers that haven’t occurred in over 20 years. This year’s game is going to be insane…

The Western Conference reserves are starting with our Warriors Draymond Green and Klay Thompson plus LaMarcus Aldridge, DeMarcus Cousins, Anthony Davis, James Harden and Chris Paul. The interview friendly Greg Poppvich will be in charge of this talented group.

The Eastern Conference reserves look like this: Chris Bosh, Jimmy Butler, DeMar DeRozan, Andre Drummond, Paul Millsap, Isaiah Thomas and John Wall. Interested to see how this one plays out, especially with newly appointed Cavaliers Head Coach Tyronn Lue running the show.

Drake has brought new life to his hometown Toronto through his music obviously but also his close involvement with the Raptors. So, you would think the league would choose him to perform at the NBA All-Star Game during halftime right? He is already coaching the team in its Celebrity Game so maybe not. Who do you bring in? Gotta give the selection committee some love for taking things in different direction yet still bringing in something of greatness with Sting. Definitely make sure you tune in February 14th for that and the best basketball on the planet on one stage. The weekend of events kicks off February 12th with the Celebrity Game and the Rising Stars Challenge at 7pm EST.

sitting between a dream and reality enjoying the view. blessings.
