These days and times that we are living in are certainly some of the oddest days of our generation. The other night the 2017 version of the SAG Awards took place, where many of the guests took to the stage with potent messages for our citizens and those around the world watching our political landscape. Today we get to check out David Harbour’s Stranger Things SAG Awards Speech.

The actor who plays Chief Jim Hopper stated: “As we act in the continuing narrative of Stranger Things, we 1983 Midwesterners will repel bullies. We will shelter freaks and outcasts — those who have no hope. We will get past the lies. We will hunt monsters,” further adding “And when we are at a loss amidst the hypocrisy and casual violence of certain individuals and institutions, we will, as per Chief Jim Hopper, punch some people in the face when they seek to destroy the meek and the disenfranchised and the marginalized.” Check out the powerful speech in the clip below and speak your thoughts on it after the jump. Stay tuned for much more on this coming very soon!
