Check Out All of the VH1 Hip Hop Honor Performances Right Here

If you missed the VH1 Hip Hop Honors last night, you truly missed out on a wonderful event.  This year all the honorees were women: Queen Latifah, Missy Elliott, Salt-n-Pepa and DJ Spinderella, and Lil Kim.  Not only were speeches made, but everyone received star-studded performances in their honor, but no worries, we have all of last night’s performances right here.

The show started off with a performance by Eve, Trina, Remy Ma, and a surprising appearance by Nelly Furtado, who performed a medley of Missy Elliott’s “Work It”, “Get Ur Freak On”, “Hot Boyz”, “Lose Control”, and “WTF” complete with backup dancers because what’s a Missy Elliott tribute without extra talented dancers.  You can check that out here.

Next, Remy Ma brought out Fat Joe and French to perform their hit song “All The Way Up“.

The next honoree was Queen Latifah and I guess she figured no one can do her justice like she could.  Queen started with Chicago’s “When You’re Good To Mama”, and then a medley of “Come Into My House”, “Had It Up 2 Here”, “Monie in the Middle”, and “Ladies First” where she brought out Rah Digga, Lady of Rage, Da Brat, and Yo Yo.  Definitely a performance you have to check out.

Naughty by Nature continued Queen Latifah’s tribute by performing “Hip Hop Hooray

Keke Palmer, Dreezy, and Ashanti perform “Shoop”, “Whatta Man”, and “Push It” in honor of Salt-N-Pepa which you can check out here.

Next, being one of the most talked about performances of the night, mainly because Teyana Taylor KILLED it, Taylor joined Lil Mama, French Montana, and The Lox to perform Lil Kim’s hits “Crush On You”, “No Time”, and “All About the Benjamin’s”.  Watch it here.

In case you didn’t know, Missy Elliott’s pen game is something serious as well and Fantasia, Monica, and….wait for it…TWEET (like where has Tweet been?) performed “Free Yourself”, “So Gone”, “Let It Go”, and “Lady Marmalade”, which you can watch here.

Lil Kim brought out Rich Homie Quan (still very confused by that) and Dej Loaf to perform “Queen B”,  “Get Money”, and “Lighters Up”.

And to end the show, Queen Latifah brought out Yo Yo, Monie Love, Da Brat, Ms. Jade, MC Lyte, Lady of Rage, Suga T, Rah Digga, Mia X, and Eve to perform her hit song U.N.I.T.Y.  Talk about women coming together in the right way.
