The good folks over at adidas are back, gearing up for Black History Month with a new collection of kicks. This time around adidas returns to celebrate the legacy of Arthur Ashe and his contributions to sport, doing so with an exclusive footwear and apparel collection. The line-up features the Harden Vol. 1, the Dame 3 and D Rose 7 all while rocking inspiration from Ashe’s athletic abilities and pioneering philanthropic efforts as well.
The designs come rocking scholastic legacy webbing, a multi-color pattern featured along the sockliner, and additional details that honor Mr. Ashe flawlessly. The Harden Vol.1 features a black and grey knit upper with white and black leather accents. The Dame 3 features a white upper with black details while “AA” branding is seen throughout. The D Rose 7 features a similar construction with a “1975” that serves as a tribute to Ashe’s Wimbledon victory and number one world ranking. The collection is slated to drop on January 23 at adidas, while the trio of players will rock their commemorative kicks during various games during February. Stay tuned for much more from adidas coming very soon!
