Charlie Murphy Passes Away at the Age of 57

The one and only, Charlie Murphy, known to most of us as one of the stars on Chappelle’s Show has passed away. The news came down yesterday that the comedian and Eddie Murphy’s older brother has died at the age of 57 after battling leukemia. He passed away in a New York City hospital Wednesday morning. Known for his memorable moments on the Chappelle’s Show, he gave us some legendary skits involving stories about Rick James and Prince.

We have also seen him on the television series Power as the character Marshal Williams as well as a few AT&T ads as well. Oh, and we cannot forget the voice of Black Jesus character in The Boondocks. Our prayers and condolences go out to the family of Charlie. Rest in Paradise Mr. Murphy.
