Chance the Rapper Releases “Somewhere in Paradise” featuring Jeremih and R. Kelly Following SNL Debut

a Chicago Paradise.

If it wasn’t already an amazing feat that Chance the Rapper became the first independent artist to touch the SNL stage, he definitely solidified himself as one of the more important voices in music. Not only did he perform a ‘slowed so you can digest every word’ version of “Sunday Candy” but he also debut a brand new song entitled “Somewhere in Paradise” featuring R. Kelly and Jeremih for an all Chicago lineup.

While using the platform to touch on local violence in his city including the young man Laquan McDonald, he also left viewers with some positive vibes to start their week off properly. The collab is only one of the many tracks that musically Chance has separated himself with (constantly improving from ’10 Day’ to ‘Surf’) but this one just feels different.

“I think my message is MASSIVE.” – Chano.
