Chance the Rapper Delivers “We The People” Anthem for USA Basketball

Rio 2016.

It has been an amazing start for the United States in this year’s Rio Olympics. The best athletes in the world have shown exactly what four years of preparation, childhood dreams fueled by dedication and sacrifice look like on the biggest stage. From Michael Phelps/Katie Ladecky dominating swimming to Simone Biles/Gabby Douglas #BlackGirlMagic on display in Gymnastics, it has already been a summer to remember.

USA Men’s Basketball team competing against the world has become an ongoing highlight reel as they continue to dominate opponents by an average of 50.5 points per game and look to extend their monstrous streak taking on Australia later today (5pm). Before they take the court for what should be another blowout win, Chance the Rapper and Nike have teamed up for an inspirational anthem urging our squad towards Gold with “We The People”. Flashing players from both the Men’s and Women’s team as Chano from 79th delivers, he leaves no room for doubt – we are truly unlimited together.

The team over at 2K followed suit, releasing the upcoming trailer for NBA 2K 17 inspired by the amazing Rio roster and sparking further debate about which team is better: 2016 Rio vs. 1992 Dream Team. What do you think?
