Cey Adams is a living legend in our era. A visual artist, graphic designer and author. Not only was he the creative director of Def Jam Recordings, but he’s known for his work with Jay-Z, LL Cool J, Beastie Boys, Mary J. Blige and so many more.
Cey came by Sway in the Morning and shared stories of his success and relatable struggles. He even spoke about living in the same building as Jay-Z before working with him, being mentored by Andy Warhol and hanging out with Jean-Michele Basquiat.
While in-studio, Cey also tells us about his new collaboration with Pabst Blue Ribbon and the incredible moment he was summoned by the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture to create a mural size collage to commemorate their opening.
