Carolina’s Finest Remains Undefeated as Cam Newton Throws 5 TDs + Eagles Shock the Patriots

On paper the 10-1 Patriots heading to Philly to face off against the 5-6 Eagles seemed like a routine outing for Tom Brady to pad stats. However there was apparently a different set of plans forming in the head of Chip Kelly and his squad. After New England put up a quick 14 points everything went left…and FAST.

If there is a way to score on the football field, the Eagles were determined to try every possible option Sunday – The Eagles blocked a punt for a TD, returned a punt for another 6, intercepted Brady and returned it 99 yards for another touchdown. It’s only the third time in NFL history that’s happened.

Guess Kobe inspired the squad after his last visit to Philadelphia in a Lakers uniform last week.

Who Dat? Say they gonna beat the…Panthers?

Early on it looked like New Orleans would be the ones to hand Carolina its first loss of the season pushing them to the brink. But that notion was put to rest after Cam Newton threw a TD with less than a minute remaining in the 4Q. A late strike to Jerricho Cotchery gave the MVP favorite his 5th TD pass of the evening to accompany 331 yards. EAT.

Much like their undefeated counterpart Golden State Warriors, not only are they making it look incredibly easy but they are having fun doing it. Congrats to the NFC South Champs!

Speaking of the Warriors, it’s now an impressive 22-0 after Sunday’s win against the Brooklyn Nets. Scary pace Golden State is on as Steph and company continue to light up the league. At this rate he will almost double the amount of 3-pointers he broke the record with previously. Craziest stat of the night: He has made more 3-pointers individually than the entire Nets roster heading into the matchup.

sitting between a dream and reality enjoying the view. blessings.
