On March 5th Claressa Shields will be putting her women’s super welterweight boxing championship on the line at Flint’s Dort Financial Center.
The three-division world champ, has the weight of women’s boxing on her shoulders and will be trying to raise the profile of the sport for women. She also is continuing to be an advocate for awareness around her hometown of Flint, which is still going through its water crisis years later.
