Boxer Darmani Sport Joins Jay-Z’s Roc Nation Team

The 2015 U.S. National Amateur Super Heavy Weight Champion, standing at 6 foot 4 inches from Philadelphia has officially signed to Jay-Z’s Roc Nation today.

Sport joins Andre Ward and Miguel Cotto in the list of boxers with the sports agency.  David Itskowitch, COO of Boxing for Roc Nation Sports, said in a press release, “All of us at Roc Nation Sports are thrilled to have added Darmani Rock to our boxing family.  He has the talent to become a force in a strong recovery in the heavyweight division and for a 19 year old heavy weight with his skill set, the sky is the limit”.

I may not know much about boxing, but Creed taught me that great boxers come out of Philly.  According to the Roc Nation website, his first professional fight will be announced soon.
