Ryan Coogler and the cast of Black Panther Wakanda Forever bear the weight of the unenviable task of of honoring their fallen brother Chadwick Boseman and building a movie that exceeds the expectation of the original film.
There is so much to unpack in this movie in a relatively short timeframe. Chadwick Boseman’s passing is priority on the list in figuring out how to pay tribute to the man at the center of this franchise. Then weaving in the constraints of the MCU, by introducing not only a new character in Namor, but an entire underwater world that has yet to be seen. Those two things alone can be their own standalone films, not to mention the other storylines interwoven to set up Marvel’s next phase.
With all that in mind Coogler and the cast exclusively sat down with Sway In The Morning to talk about the film and the legacy of Chadwick Boseman.
Black Panther Wakanda Forever is in theaters November 11th. Get your tickets early because it is likely to be sold out for a while.
